TANKHEAD: TYPE 33

Welcome to the HEIKEGANI Tank Simulation, a state-of-the-art training program based on Emerson Tung's "TANKHEAD" collection. This simulator is designed to familiarize you with the HEIKEGANI, an old-fashioned but formidable model requiring skill and patience to master.

HEIKEGANI

The HEIKEGANI is known for its slow speed and unique handling characteristics. With dedication and practice, you will develop the proficiency of a seasoned veteran. This simulation replicates a realistic combat arena, preparing you for actual battlefield conditions.

The Process

TANKHEAD was a two month indie game project I participated in. The game replicates 90s computer graphics in a military manner as the player takes part of a fictitious combat simulator. The game was received well at SAGE and online with many good reviews.

MUTAGEN

"Navigate your way through ruin-filled forests, as you search for the source of a mutation, converging all flora and fauna around it into blood-thirsty machines."

PLAYER

Play as Panacea , a lonesome tribal girl who begins to adapt to the machine-mutated animals by wielding their abilities against them amidst their rage against the forests. Panacea begins her journey with basic abilities such as:

  • War Club - A strong close-range attack that may deliver either strong or weak blows depending on your luck.
  • Primitive Short Bow - When its appropriate button is held down, the attack is charged making it faster and more powerful.
  • Dash - Three quick dashes which take time to cooldown before they can be used again. Useful for combat and traversing levels.

 

After defeating a group of enemies, Panacea can use their leftover parts to build Augments. These Augments provide her with new abilities and more powerful versions of her base attacks.

PERMACORE

A calusthrobic emergency responder stuck in the blizzards of Europa.

THE CONCEPT

In PERMACORE you play as a driver/doctro who must conduct their all-terrain vehicle through the snowy tundra of Europa. Receiving SOS the player must pick those patients up and put them into the medical room. While monitoring the patient through cameras, the player must regulate the conditions of the room to stabilize the patient while driving the difficult terrain.
